We’ve launched the premium accounts! You can now choose an account type when you sign up if you require more than the free plan offers. Check out the pricing page to see what’s available. If you already have an account, you can upgrade using the button on the nav bar.
We’re pushing hard to introduce new features. Particularly when it’s a feature you’ve asked for, we like to get it out as soon as it’s functional. However, that does mean we wind up putting the finishing touches on publicly for a couple days after a new feature is introduced. We like getting feedback about the core of a feature, which often effects how we finish it up.
Speaking of polishing features, Jacob’s been working hard to integrate chat seamlessly into lists. I think it has turned out pretty well. There are now adjustable email notifications for chats you missed, and notifications in the chat bar and the page tab if you’ve got the list open in a tab. You can chat anonymously or openly, depending on list settings. The anonymity settings for comments also control the anonymity settings for chat. A handful of other little adjustments make it look better on the page and operate more intuitively. Currently chat is only available on premium accounts.
It’s been around for awhile, but it’s also time to mention RSS. You can subscribe to this blog, or you can get an RSS feed from your list dashboard. Look for the little RSS symbol in your url bar. Just another way to keep up to date with your lists or the changes on the site.
